Getting started

Core concepts

Understand the objects Claura uses to keep documents, evidence, people, and accounting work connected.

Workspace

A workspace is the security and billing boundary. It is either a business workspace or an accounting-firm workspace. A user can own a workspace and also belong to client or team workspaces.

Sources and documents

A source is a connected Gmail, Outlook, or supported storage account. Documents retain source identity, provider, sync health, ingestion status, and extracted financial fields.

Financial context

Claura groups related artifacts into contexts, events, journeys, subscriptions, and vendor relationships. Every inferred relation carries evidence, confidence, status, and any contradiction signals so it can be reviewed.

Archive and exports

Archive periods summarize document count, connected sources, currencies, missing amounts, and close status. Exports are generated records with an explicit type, manifest, included files, totals, and processing status.

CLAURA NOTE

Financial context should stay connected.

Claura keeps the document, conversation, and decision together—so the next person never has to reconstruct the story.
