Connect Gmail or Outlook

Connect the email accounts where invoices and receipts already arrive. Claura imports financial documents without requiring forwarding rules.

Before you connect

Choose the personal, finance, accounts-payable, or shared inboxes that receive business documents. For managed Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, your administrator may control which applications can be authorized.

Connect an account

Open Sources in Claura, choose Gmail or Outlook, review the provider permission screen, and complete authorization with the mailbox owner. Claura creates the source only after the provider returns a valid connection.

Historical and ongoing sync

The first historical sync builds the initial document set. Incremental syncs then collect new eligible items. Source health shows the last sync, last ingestion, connection status, and any error requiring attention.

Disconnecting

Disconnect a source when the mailbox should no longer feed the workspace. The connection is marked disconnected and future syncs stop; workspace retention and deletion controls apply to documents already collected.

CLAURA NOTE

Financial context should stay connected.

Claura keeps the document, conversation, and decision together—so the next person never has to reconstruct the story.
