Administration

Roles and permissions

Roles control what a person can read or change in a workspace.

Workspace roles

Claura uses owner, manager, accountant, viewer, and member roles depending on workspace and relationship type.

Capability model

All active roles can read. Owners, managers, and accountants can write and manage providers. Owners and accountants can manage clients. Only owners can manage the workspace, team, and billing.

  • Viewer: read-only access.
  • Accountant: client work and provider management.
  • Manager: operational workspace management.
  • Owner: workspace, team, security, and billing control.

Assignments

Firm owners can assign primary and secondary accountants to client workspaces. Assignments limit cross-client views for non-owner roles.

CLAURA NOTE

Financial context should stay connected.

Claura keeps the document, conversation, and decision together—so the next person never has to reconstruct the story.
